Peel board targets youth unemployment
Through several partnerships and innovative programs the Centre for Education and Training offers youth a helping hand in finding employment through such programs as the following:
- Youth Opportunities Canada matches unemployed, job-ready youth with local employers
- Jobs In Motion - The mobile unit travels to various locations throughout the region of Peel and Halton providing career counseling and job search assistance to youth at risk between the ages of 16 -30 and to newcomers to Canada.
