Kids Helping Kids Around the World
Developed by CHF (formerly the Canadian Hunger Foundation), Kids Helping Kids Around the World allows the entire school to get involved in helping purchase the components of a community. Contact CHF and they will send you a kit to get started. By purchasing gifts that matter, your school will make a real difference!
Plant a Tree in Africa
You've heard of tree planting... but have you ever thought of planting a tree in Africa? Now you can! Trees are a source of life. Check out Canadian Physcians for Aid and Relief's (CPAR) website to learn more about why trees are so important to development and how you can help.
Adopt a Village
Through Free the Children's Adopt a Village program, your school can raise funds for school building projects, water and sanitation projects, or alternative income projects. Fundraise to purchase essential items likes desks, classrooms, sewing machines, wells and goats.
Celebrate for Change
Having a birthday party this year? Consider throwing a party for kids everywhere. Free the Children's new campaign, Celebrate for Change will help you make a difference while you party.
Gifts of Hope
Need to give a gift but not sure what to buy? Why not give a Gift of Hope. Plan Canada has a variety of gifts that you can purchase on behalf of someone. Imagine the look on your friend's face when they open up the gift only to find a bee keeping set inside! Or at least a note letting them know that someone who really needs it will receive their bee keeping set and will now be able to sell honey to generate income.

Is there an issue you care deeply about? Plan Canada provides the opportunity for you to support a solution for the following issues:

30-hour famine
How long can you go without food? Challenge yourself and your school to participate in the 30-hour famine this year and raise money for World Vision. You'll be helping to provide nutritious food and safe water for people all over the world.
