Become a volunteer
It's easy to volunteer.
1. Contact the school you'd like volunteer with and ask to speak to the principal about volunteer opportunities. Visit the Schools section of the website to find a school near you.
2. If opportunities are available, pick up a criminal record check form from the school, complete it and bring it to the police station indicated on the form for approval (at no cost).
3. After you receive your completed record check in the mail, drop it off at the Criminal Records Check Desk at the HJA Brown Education Centre at 5650 Hurontario Street in Mississauga.
4. Once the form has been approved at the board office, your name will be added to the Peel board's volunteer database and you're ready to start volunteering!
To find out if your name has been entered into the volunteer database, call 905-890-1010 ext. 2488.
