Creative Learning Choices

Creative learning choices offer students a variety of options

The Peel board's Creative Learning Choices program expands the variety of learning options within the public school system. They are designed to meet the diverse learning needs of all students. Any students in Peel can apply to the following program:

  • Arts programs for middle school students at Earnscliffe Sr. Public School, 905-793-2903, and Queen Elizabeth Senior Public School, 905278-7287. For high school students at Cawthra Park Secondary School, 905-274-1271, and Mayfield Secondary School, 905-846-6060
  • Caring for the Future, career education for students interested in health care, 905-451-2860
  • French immersion, open to all children starting grade 1, 905-890-1010 ext.2212 for the nearest school
  • Extended French, open to all students starting grade 7, 905-890-1010 ext.2212 for the nearest school
  • Construction Co-op program, 905-858-3087 or 905-791-6770
  • International Baccalaureate for middle school students at William G. Davis Sr. Public School, 905-459-3661, and for high school students at Turner Fenton Secondary School, 905-453-9220 and Glenforest Secondary School, 905-625-7731
  • International Business and Technology program for middle school students at Allan A. Martin Senior, 905-278-6104 and for high school students at Gordon Graydon Memorial Secondary, 905-274-2391 and North Park Secondary School, 905-456-1906
  • Recipe for Success chef training program, Turner Fenton Secondary School, 905-453-9220 ext. 307
  • School Online, web-based high school courses, www.school-online.ca
  • Sci-tech inquiry centre for students in grades 6 to 8 at Tomken Road Middle School, 905-277-0321 and for high school students at Port Credit Secondary School, 905-278-3382
