Peel middle school students participate in second annual Drama Showcase Drama students in grades 6 to 8 will perform at the Peel District School Board's second annual Peel Intermediate Drama Showcase on May 28 at Port Credit Secondary School in Mississauga. Performances include a variety of work from musicals, Shakespeare, scenes from plays, and student written scripts. Peel students celebrate literacy with award-winning Canadian authors More than 5,000 Peel District School Board teachers and students from grades 3 to 8 will participate in the third annual Forest of Reading Celebration at the Hershey Centre on May 27. The event will feature the Silver Birch, Red Maple and Silver Birch Express reading programs initiated by the Ontario Library Association to encourage independent reading and improve literacy skills.
