Typical day

A typical day

Students arrive between 8:15 and 8:30 am and then report to their class. Classes begin promptly at 8:30 am and attendance is taken.

Teachers will take up homework, collect assignments or distribute tests depending on the lesson plan for that day. Students will be given this information and need to keep an organized record of all due dates for the course in order to be successful.

At approximately 10:50 am students will have a 20-minute break. Students may bring a small lunch or may purchase items from the tuck shop or vending machines if available. They are not to leave the school property during this time.

Classes resume at 11:10 am. New concepts may be taught, presentations may occur or students may work independently on assigned work depending on the lesson plan for the day.

Classes end at 1:30 pm and all students should leave the building and move off school property by 1:45 pm.
