How to register
1. Information Session and Assessment
English-speaking adults over the age of 19 years of age who are currently not enrolled in school, are encouraged to come to an information session. Information sessions are offered the first Friday of each month at 9:30 am and the first Tuesday evening of each month at 6:30 pm. No appointment or registration is necessary. Sessions in Brampton are held at #300 – 7700 Hurontario Street, and in Missisauga at 100 Elm Drive, Room 120.
Please bring original documentation of citizenship or immigration to the Information Session
Please do not bring children to the information session or the assessment, as there is no daycare facility.
The information and assessment session is approximately 3 hours.
2. Orientation
The following 2 Fridays or 2 or 3 Tuesday evenings will be spent discussing your:
- study skills
- learning styles
- setting your goals
- introduction to the computer software programs
3. Registration
If there are classroom openings, the learner can start immediately.
If the classes are full, the learner will be placed on a waitlist or referred to another agency.
The learner will be contacted as soon as there is a space for them in the classroom.
