Who can join?

Literacy and Basic Skills and the non-credit academic upgrading programs provide classes to:

• English speaking adults over 19 years of age
• Adults with English as a Second Language whose listening/speaking skills have been measured as a Level 6, based on the Canadian Language Benchmark Assessment
• People who are younger than 19 years of age but who have been out of school for one year who need to improve their skills in the core areas of reading, writing, mathematics and computers.
