4 steps to registration

All classes are conditional on teacher availability and sufficient enrolment and are subject to cancellation or transfer there is a fee of $30 per course, and a refundable textbook deposit of $80 per book to a maximum of $160.

How to register for day or night adult credit programs

1.         Get information

Please visit the Mississauga or Brampton campus to pick up information about specific assessment/registration procedures and requirements, or call 905-270-6000 x 420.
Age requirements for this program depend on the session.  Students must be 21 years of age or older to attend all sessions from September to June.  Students must be 18 years of age or older to attend the Summer session (some conditions apply).
Note: There are no night classes during the summer session.

2.         Select your course through Chart your Course.

3.         Complete the registration form. 

Please do not lose your yellow copy of the registration form, and bring it with you when you come to class.  This will be required to verify your registration in the course, and will be required if you change your mind, or when signing out textbooks, etc. You may view or download a sample registration form. .

4.         Bring required documents when you register.

Students require an official, original Ontario Secondary School transcript. If you do not have an Ontario transcript, an assessment is required for all new registrants. For more information please call the Adult Credit program at 905-270-6000 ext. 420. You should also bring documents from your school in the country of origin, if applicable.

One of the following documents is required as proof of age, Canadian citizenship or immigration status:

  • Proof of Canadian Citizenship (Birth Certificate, Birth Registration Card, Passport, Citizenship Card or Certificate)
  • Confirmation of Permanent Resident Status (Permanent Resident Card PRC or IMM5292)
  • Proof of Landed Immigrant Status (Record of Landing IMM1000)
  • Any immigration documents the family may have which may include:
    • Temporary Resident Permit;
    • Work Permit/Employment Authorization;
    • Refugee claimants/Convention Refugees
    • Application for Landing/Approval in Principle (sponsorship within Canada)
    • Minister's Permits (and/or extension thereof )
