Peel board's We Welcome the World Centres help newcomer students get back to school

The Peel District School Board's We Welcome the World Centres, are making it easier for newcomer families to register their children for school and access a variety of supports for a smooth transition to life in Canada. There are two welcome centres in Mississauga, and one in Brampton.

Beat the back-to-school rush: register for school before classes begin

The start of the school year is a busy time for teachers, school staff and families. To ensure students' transition to school is as smooth as possible, the Peel District School Board encourages parents who have not yet registered their children for school to beat the back-to-school rush and register before classes begin.

arrow This fall, the first day of school for students will be Tuesday, September 8. Parents are welcome to register students on Thursday, August 27, Friday, Augst 28, Monday, August 31, Tuesday, September 1 and Friday, September 4. Each secondary school has specific times for registration.
